DESCRIPTION
The articulated knee brace EXCELL'ICE combines the advantages of restraint and cryotherapy. It consists of an articulated immobilization splint of the knee and inflatable cold packs by means of a manual pump. In order to facilitate the use in healthcare establishments or at home, 2 sets of anterior and posterior cold packs are provided, as is a lycra jersey (hypoallergenic and comfortable fabric) to effectively protect the skin.
The articulated splint allows you to immobilize the knee but is scalable since it also offers the possibility of adjusting the flexion / extension range.
The articulated knee brace EXCELL'ICE is therefore particularly effective in providing both an analgesic effect, reducing inflammation and edema, while helping to reduce hematomas. It is thus an extremely effective aid to rehabilitation and can be used both in postoperative RRAC, RAAC or Rapid Recovery protocols ... as well as for the management of pain felt during the occurrence of sprains (RICE protocol), tendonitis, muscle strains ...
